Chapter 222: The Sunshine and Resilience of Youth. [221]
Summary
The chapter depicts a scene where a group of students, mainly boys, and girls, find themselves in a gym class activity. The girls start leaving due to fatigue while the boys, including Oikawa Toru, remain determinedly waiting for a courageous warrior to step forward. Frustrated by the lack of movement, Oikawa eventually decides to rest on the playground grass. Soon, others join him, including Murakiza and their teacher, who all opt to take it easy instead of continuing with the strenuous activity. As they relax, Oikawa reflects on the situation, comparing their choice to evade further effort to being a security guard avoiding life's complexities. Meanwhile, Hiratsuka Shizuka observes from a distance, slightly perturbed. The class bell eventually marks their break, leading to playful banter between Oikawa and Iroha, who expresses concern for him sunbathing. As their conversation unfolds, Iroha's determination as a student council president comes to light, revealing her dual struggle of confidence and responsibility. Oikawa is captivated by her resolve, recognizing her strengths even amidst her vulnerabilities.Full content
