Chapter 220: Haoyang's Funeral Ruckus (Part 2). [227]
Summary
Gao Yang, the 17th daughter of the Great Tang Emperor, arrived at the Feng Family's gate, seeking revenge for the death of a lowly servant girl who was bullied and murdered by the family's son. She was accompanied by a dozen guards and was determined to punish the family for their cruelty. Feng Jia Zhu, the master of the Feng Family, was outraged by Gao Yang's accusations and refused to apologize. Gao Yang, in a fit of rage, whipped Feng Jia Zhu's face, leaving a long scar, and then ordered her guards to tear down the family's mansion. The guards, vastly superior in combat, quickly overpowered the Feng Family's guards and smashed everything in sight, leaving the courtyard in ruins. The mourning hall was pulled down, and the coffin containing Feng Jia Zhu's son was damaged. Feng Jia Zhu was consumed by rage and shame, but he was powerless against Gao Yang's authority. Gao Yang, confident in her royal status, defied Feng Jia Zhu's accusations and left a tooth-shaped plaque, signifying her royal title. Feng Jia Zhu, realizing the gravity of the situation, knelt before Gao Yang, acknowledging her authority. Gao Yang, having made her point, departed with her guards, leaving the Feng Family to pick up the pieces.Full content
