Summary

The story follows Kai Zi and the narrator during new student welcome day at their school. Initially excited about greeting freshmen, they discover the event is less glamorous than expected. The day is extremely hot (39 degrees), and the lunch provided is terrible. Kai Zi cleverly introduces a beautiful woman as his "cousin" to impress others. Later, the narrator meets Han Ke Er, and they have lunch with Li Ming Yao. During the meal, Li Ming Yao suddenly experiences a mysterious health issue, collapsing and bleeding, but refuses to explain what happened, leaving an air of intrigue and concern.
