Chapter 22: Soul Loss. [25]

Summary

In 2005, a boy fell into a vegetative state after being startled. Despite traditional treatments, he remained unresponsive. A shaman suggested his soul was lost to the underworld. The narrator, experienced in guiding souls, was contacted for help. Upon arrival, the home was filled with wind chimes, which can attract spirits. The boy's soul was nearby but obstructed by other spirits, likely due to a Rakshasa axe hanging in the room. After removing the wind chimes and using a specific method involving needle pricks, the boy awakened, albeit with memory gaps. His mother was grateful, reflecting on the importance of recognizing one's limitations and the risks of losing one's soul in the pursuit of progress.
