The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu is sent flying by Zha Gu's Aoi long whip, while Zha Gu is momentarily shaken by the force. Yan Luo appears, attacking Zha Gu with her bone spear, but he manages to dodge. Zha Gu is wounded by the spear, and his Aoi snake manifestation retaliates against Yan Luo, causing her to suffer further injury. Shi Mu, despite being severely injured by Zha Gu’s attack, manages to defend himself with protective spells. Yan Luo saves him from a lethal strike, but is seriously hurt in the process. Both retreat to a small valley, where Yan Luo absorbs beast souls to regain strength, surprising Shi Mu with her newfound power. As Zha Gu approaches, Yan Luo expresses a desire for revenge, vanishing to confront him while Shi Mu prepares to flee.
