Summary

Yue Chen informs Cao Jia Kang that the Third Young Lady is leaving for Europe and wants to see him one last time. After some hesitation, Cao Jia Kang prepares and meets her, but is shocked by her aged appearance and cold demeanor. Despite her unsettling presence, it’s clear she still cares for him, as she has left her assets to him. Yue Chen reassures Cao Jia Kang and encourages him to manage the money she has given him. Just as they leave, Cao Jia Kang receives alarming news about Yun Shi, indicating trouble ahead.
