Meanwhile, in the palace, the Tai Zi summons Su Cang and Sun Cheng Ru to discuss the growing crowd outside, with Sun Cheng Ru suggesting releasing Ye Tian and refusing peace negotiations. The Tai Zi insists Ye Tian must die for peace, and reveals that the Emperor is already awake but seeing no one.
