Taoist Priest Gu's Life.
Chapter 214: Yin Within Yang. [212]
Summary
The scene begins with an elder being awakened in a car by his assistant at 4 a.m. The assistant reports that the water level has decreased, but the red mist remains. The elder is informed that Huozhou City has been destroyed. Wang Ruoxu arrives at Mister Gu's place, where Lu Dao Chang is also present. The elder instructs his assistant to keep an eye on them. The story then shifts to a temporary camp where personnel from the city have gathered. Wang Ruoxu, Gu Yu, Xiao Zhai, and Lu Yuanqing are introduced, and they engage in a conversation. Wang Ruoxu is asked to help with a feng shui-related matter, and he boasts about his expertise. Xiao Zhai sketches the surroundings of a cave, and Wang Ruoxu examines it, noticing something unusual. Wang Ruoxu explains that the place is a rare example of yang containing yin and yin having yang on the outside. He believes that the cave holds mysteries and may be hiding a big monster. Gu Yu asks for Wang Ruoxu's help in finding the cave, and Wang Ruoxu agrees, despite some hesitation. The group discusses the Shamanism affair, and Lu Yuanqing is surprised by the existence of such a crazy organization. The four continue to chat, and Lu Yuanqing skillfully maintains a balance in the conversation. Wang Ruoxu is revealed to have two identities: a cultivator of the Taoist academy and an undercover agent for the special bureau. As the sky brightens, the group exits the tent, and the observation team reports that the red mist's speed has significantly decreased. The chapter ends with the scene switching to the next chapter.Full content
