Summary

Guang Xiao, now distanced from his past as a Taoist, emphasizes his dedication to Buddhism while conversing with Gui Bu Gui. He leaves a food stall, surprising fellow monks with his generosity. Meanwhile, Bai Wu Qiu and little Ren San express skepticism about Guang Xiao's significance. As time passes, Guang Xiao wanders Shou Chun City, while Peng Hua Yin grows closer to the teachings of the monk Kasyapa. After five years, Gui Bu Gui and Wu Mian leave for an important matter, instructing Peng Hua Yin to practice diligently. In Luoyang City, they arrive amid mourning for Empress Yin Li Hua, as the Emperor's health declines. Gui Bu Gui plans to pay respects, while Wu Mian opts to go alone.
