Summary

On a delightful night, four friends gathered around a fire pit when they encountered a maternal spirit. Luo Ping Yi attempted to capture her using a peach wood sword and incantations, but the spirit grew stronger after shedding her skin. Despite his efforts, Luo Ping Yi struggled against her fierce retaliation. As he fought, he realized he was running out of energy, and his attacks began to weaken. Just when he thought he had defeated her, the maternal spirit rose again, transformed and more dangerous. The narrator deduced that the spirit's strength came from her child spirit, which they had captured. To protect the child, the narrator threatened to burn the child spirit, hoping to deter the maternal spirit from attacking further.
