Summary

Li Yan Qing arrives at Bao Yan Zhai to find it deserted, with muscular men blocking the entrance due to unpaid debts owed by local butchers. He confronts them and pays off the debts to restore business operations. Inside, he finds his father, Li Da Qi, unwell and burdened by guilt over the shop's troubles. Li Yan Qing reassures him that they will manage the debts and recover financially. After discussing outstanding debts with Wu Zhang Gui, Li Yan Qing decides to use his gold reserves to settle urgent payments and plans to negotiate with Zheng Jia for more time on spice supplies. He then visits Jia Wang, where he learns about counterfeit artworks linked to Luan Ting Yu, hinting at a larger scheme involving valuable items.
