Summary

In Chapter 310, Tong Sheng Xue, having recently stepped into the great demon realm, confronts her mother, Tong Sheng Huan, who is in a weakened state due to chains of spiritual power pulling her back into a seal. Nagayama Yuuzuru intervenes to protect Tong Sheng Xue and ultimately defeats Tong Sheng Huan, who shows signs of wanting to die. Mizuki Kikyo, the head of the Genji clan, appears and uses an Arrow of Demon Destruction against Tong Sheng Huan, but Tong Sheng Xue blocks it, leading to a tense standoff. Yuuzuru proposes lifting the seal on Tong Sheng Huan, but she will be confined to the Demon Suppression Tower. After some negotiation, Yuuzuru agrees to help, and Tong Sheng Xue expresses her gratitude. Following this, Yuuzuru purifies the polluted Sun Wheel Lake using his powers, restoring its beauty. The chapter concludes with Kikyo appreciating the restored lake but making it clear that it doesn't count as a favor owed to Yuuzuru.
