Chapter 211: Deceive, Then Deceive Again. [311]

Summary

Yue Chen confronts Wei Lian Mu Si, warning that if provoked, he could retreat for ten years to create magical tools and share his secret techniques with Chinese cultivators. Ke Lao Lu, intrigued, proposes a discussion in private, revealing his envy of Eastern cultivators' long lifespans and seeking to understand Yue Chen's motives for visiting. Yue Chen insists on acquiring the second, third, and fourth mines, while Ke Lao Lu offers all five mines and a promise of non-hostility from the Free City-State and Explorers Alliance. Yue Chen, skeptical, negotiates terms, including non-interference during his upcoming conflict with a vampire duke in Europe. They finalize a contract with specific conditions, allowing Yue Chen to travel freely while restricting his abilities as a cultivator. The contract is signed, and each party departs the island.
