Summary

In the city of Suzaku, a massacre has taken place, with the Shangguan family completely annihilated by a mysterious figure known as the Gray Robe Mister. Su Hen, the city lord, is worried about the implications for his own family, especially after his daughter Su Rou returns safely with her sister Su Mei. Su Rou hands her father a note from the Gray Robe Mister, warning him against marrying his daughters to anyone else. Su Hen experiences a mix of emotions upon reading the note, realizing the threat it poses to his family.
