Summary

Xu Liao, terrified, attempts to escape but is trapped by an invisible stone circle created by Sun Bo Fang, who tasks him with killing a summoned red howler. Despite his fear and initial failure to harm the creature, Xu Liao recalls his battle beast, the Jade Seven-Star Mantis Demon, and uses its power to unleash vacuum blade waves. He realizes the red howler's weakness is at the back of its neck but struggles to capitalize on it due to the creature's agility. After a prolonged battle and depleting his energy, Xu Liao bravely confronts the howler head-on, landing a decisive blow that kills it. Exhausted but triumphant, he refuses to reveal his strategy to Sun Bo Fang, who is both impressed and curious about Xu Liao's unexpected success.
