Chapter 21: Holy Cave (Part 1). [21]

Summary

In Chapter 21 of the narrative, Li Qi Ye is escorted by Yu He, the Grand Protector of the Nine Saints Demon Gate, to the Sacred Cave, a long-sealed site believed to contain immense treasures, including an Immortal Emperor's weapon. Despite generations of attempts, no one has been able to unlock the cave, which bears the inscription "Heavenly Demon Only Me," left by its founder, Jiu Sheng Da Xian. As Li Qi Ye contemplates this inscription, he recalls his past connection with Jiu Sheng Da Xian. After a day of meditation, he humorously writes a contrasting couplet, "a mess of feathers," provoking outrage among the elders, who view it as an insult to their sect’s legacy.
