Summary

In a tense scene, Wu Ya violently attacks Zhang Qian with a toothbrush, causing severe injuries. Zhou Jie and Su Mei, witnesses to the chaos, are paralyzed by fear and helplessness. Wu Ya, consumed by madness, retaliates against Zhou Jie after she attempts to defend Zhang Qian, ultimately leaving her and Su Mei incapacitated. With the women no longer a threat, Wu Ya seeks medicine and reassures Wu Qing, another captive, that she will be released if she behaves. Despite his earlier rational demeanor, Wu Ya's instability grows, leaving Wu Qing with a fleeting chance to escape as he becomes increasingly erratic.
