Summary

Yu Yin Zhen Jun, standing atop a jade skyscraper, reflects on the destruction caused by fire crossbows and his stolen Ling Gu Zhu string. Despite his power, he chooses not to intervene in the chaos caused by sea bandits, feeling unappreciated by the Du family. Hu Da Li, a captured sea bandit, informs him of a talented alchemist on the island, sparking Yu Yin Zhen Jun's interest. He decides to take Hu Da Li as a disciple while plotting to capture the alchemist, Chu Tian. Upon meeting Chu Tian, Yu Yin Zhen Jun expresses his desire to take him under his wing, much to the dismay of Du Hong Ye, who disapproves of his intentions.
