Summary

Lin Ning, pleased with his earnings, agrees to treat Liu Xin Hui after she insists on a lavish meal, which ultimately consumes all his money. The next day, he meets with Wang Xiezi and Liu Gongming, who are busy drawing talismans. Officer Song informs Lin Ning of a reward for his bravery against wanted murderers and offers him a position as a martial arts instructor, which Lin Ning declines. Soon after, Du Qing Xue approaches Lin Ning for help regarding her family's old residence. He draws a talisman for her, accepting payment and assuring her of its effectiveness. Despite Song Qian's accusations of scamming, Lin Ning defends his work as legitimate and valuable.
