Summary

In this passage, an old monk seeks to become a disciple of Guibu Gui, who dismissively suggests the monk find his master Xu Fu in the East Sea. The old monk, despite being weak and hungry, becomes excited about the prospect and attempts to leave. Later, Peng Hua Yin, brother of the late Peng Jin, arrives at Guibu Gui's hut to express gratitude for an immortality elixir that saved his brother years ago. Peng Hua Yin hopes to learn supernatural abilities from Guibu Gui and invites him to stay, bringing numerous gifts as a gesture of appreciation.
