Summary

A grand procession arrives, masked and festive, claiming to welcome the City Lord's daughter, Miss Su Mei, which confuses onlookers since she is engaged to Shangguan Ya. Tensions rise as Shangguan Tian orders the guards to capture the intruders, but the leader of the group retaliates with deadly force, killing several Shangguan family members. The group's strength is revealed, with three Xuanwu masters among them, causing fear among the crowd. Shangguan Yue, the head of the Shangguan family and a sixth-level Xuanwu master, appears to confront the intruders, showcasing his power and causing the opposing group to retreat. However, just as victory seems assured for Shangguan Yue, a mysterious gray gas forms a barrier in front of the procession, hinting at further conflict.
