Summary

Yi Fan and his companions learn about a legendary Qiongqi that demands five thousand good people annually from the Divine Sect. Yi Ming explains that the Qiongqi only eats good people and spares the bad ones. As they discuss this, the Bone Fan Scholar, a powerful demonic expert, appears, looking disheveled and angry. Tensions rise as Yi Ming challenges him, but they realize they are outmatched. Suddenly, the Qiongqi awakens and questions the Bone Fan Scholar about his morality. The Bone Fan Scholar, trying to save himself, claims to be a bad person and points to Yi Fan and the others as good people. The Qiongqi, understanding the situation, lunges at the Bone Fan Scholar, who attempts to defend himself with a gray mist.
