Summary

Zhang Bai Ren, feeling humiliated by the imperial envoy, boldly resigns from his official position, declaring his disdain for the corrupt court. He defiantly strips off his official robes and challenges the envoy, demonstrating his rebellious spirit. As he prepares to leave, he confronts the envoy and threatens him, leading to a dramatic altercation where he drags the envoy along with him. Despite the risks of striking an imperial envoy, Zhang Bai Ren and his companions decide to escape and launch a counterattack, believing they can evade the court's wrath. The imperial envoy, furious and fearful, vows to report Zhang Bai Ren's actions, igniting a potential conflict between the rebellious group and the imperial authority.
