Summary

Ai Hui and his companions faced a formidable blood earthworm in a dojo courtyard. The creature, grotesquely large and agile, easily evaded their traps and struck several students, causing severe injuries. Despite their efforts, attacks against it were ineffective due to its protective blood light and mucus. Ai Hui realized the blood patterns on the earthworm might be its weakness and ordered an attack to blow up the blood-red ground, exposing the creature. Although they managed to injure it, the blood earthworm quickly healed. Ai Hui concluded that while the beast was powerful, its actual lethality was low, and they needed to exploit its weaknesses to defeat it.
