Summary

In the early morning, Lin Feng, dressed in crimson armor, prepares for the impending battle as the Mo Yue Kingdom's army approaches. Despite their numerical superiority, the Xue Yue army remains vigilant. Lin Feng leads a small group of soldiers, clad in striking red armor, to the battlefield where they face the imposing Mo Yue forces. Tensions rise as Duan Tianlang pressures Liu Cang Lan for a strategy to protect the princess, shifting responsibility onto him. Lin Feng confronts Duan Tianlang about his arrogance and offers his armor to the princess for her protection. The Mo Yue elite, the Black Sha Guards, challenge the Chi Xue Iron Cavalry to battle, but Jiu Chi Xue refuses to engage. Duan Tianlang, seeking to maintain morale, calls for volunteers from Tian Yi Academy, leading to a young man's ill-fated charge against the formidable Black Sha Guards, resulting in the immediate death of all thirty-six soldiers he led.
