Chapter 200: Little Mei Rings the Bell. [296]
Summary
In a dimly lit basement, a girl named Little Mei and an elderly man, Gan Ye, are tuning a set of bronze bells, replicas of the famous Zeng Hou Yi bells. The narrator delivers rice to them and admires the craftsmanship of the bells, which Gan Ye proudly claims to have replicated with the help of Master Xiang. Despite their efforts, one bell remains slightly out of tune. Little Mei, a music student, and Gan Ye struggle with the tuning process, which involves precise sanding. After a long day, they decide to grab a late-night snack, highlighting their camaraderie and shared passion for music.Full content
