Summary

Sun Wukong faces Manjushri Bodhisattva with immense power, unaware of the Soul-Capturing Envoys dispatched to capture his spirit. As night falls, the two divine beings, Black and White Impermanence, extract Sun Wukong's soul using chains, while his physical body remains in a deep slumber. Yuan Ge plans to exploit the situation, pondering the rewards from intervening in the Underworld. The Nine Nether Realm, governed by the Yin Celestial Emperor, houses numerous prisons due to the increase of sins. Sun Wukong, now a captured soul, realizes his predicament and challenges the Envoys, asserting his immortality and questioning his capture by King Yama.
