Summary

Spike, a powerful dog, faces off against the Mane Lion, using his strength to initially dominate but struggles due to his lack of combat experience. After a tough three-minute battle, he learns valuable techniques and ultimately defeats the lion. Excited for the next challenge, Spike prepares to fight a five-meter-long Horned Python. Using various enhancements, Spike grows in size and power, quickly overpowering the python, which he ultimately kills despite its regenerative abilities. After the fight, Mei Lun evaluates the effectiveness of hunting the Mane Lion for spiritual energy, realizing it’s not a stable source. Later, Spike recovers and undergoes a significant training boost after Mei Lun infuses him with spiritual energy, leading to rapid growth. However, Mei Lun faces the challenge of managing the high costs of sustaining Spike’s training and energy needs, realizing he must find more efficient ways to acquire spiritual energy.
