Summary

Zhang Shou Yue, an aging general, faced a dire situation with only 1,000 troops against 10,000 Xizhai bandits. Despite his calm demeanor, anxiety brewed within him as he realized he had fallen into a trap while pursuing bandits. The ambush blocked his return route, echoing past defeats of the Song army. Zhang's resolve rekindled as he strategized for reinforcements while his troops' morale waned. He ordered his officer, Wang Jun Wan, to charge the enemy head-on. With a fierce rallying cry, Wang led his cavalry into battle, cutting through enemy lines, but faced a formidable infantry unit, Tuan Tuan, blocking their advance.
