Summary

Ze Sheng is anxious about the little Hopping Vampire biting him, despite Uncle Jiu's assurance that it has become gentle after being burned by a talisman. As he carries it, he panics when it struggles and falls, fearing it might bite someone in the village. When he threatens it with his sword, the Hopping Vampire surprisingly surrenders and shows it can understand simple math. Ze Sheng decides to take it home, feeling less afraid. However, he encounters A Hao, whose brother has mysteriously disappeared while picking lychees. They suspect a banana spirit may be involved, leading them to the banana grove to search for A Sheng.
