Summary

Dr. Shu Ran was grazed by a bullet but insisted he wasn't injured, longing to return to his quiet old home. Yi Qing, showing courage, pleaded with the man to let Dr. Shu Ran go to the hospital, promising to accompany him. The man, revealing his tragic past of abuse and a failed attempt to protect others, ultimately shot Dr. Shu Ran despite his earlier promise. Yi Qing, devastated, confronted the man about his actions, learning of his deep-seated trauma and misguided attempts to save others. As police sirens approached, the man resigned himself to his fate, leaving Yi Qing in a state of uncertainty about their future.
