Chapter 20: Ancient Huai Tree on the Moonlit Night. [23]

Summary

Wu Daoming strolled by a pond under a crescent moon, reflecting on the fierce Shen Cai Hua and her child’s father, Zhu Biao. As Zhu Biao prepared to retrieve Shen’s remains, bubbles emerged from the water, signaling the arrival of a rare Jin Tou Tortoise. This ancient creature, known for its longevity and power, attracted Wu Daoming's attention. Using a powerful weapon called the Yin-Yang Cone, he crafted several to subdue the tortoise and its offspring, ultimately sparing them. Wu Daoming, despite the pain of plucking his hair, felt relief as he sent them away, returning to his hut unaware of one turtle's escape back to the pond.
