Summary

In a desolate wasteland, Qing Nian emerges from a lab, overwhelmed by painful memories and the haunting remnants of a former base. As he wanders through the ruins, he encounters grotesque zombies, but time freezes, allowing him to witness their disintegration. Struggling with his identity as a clone of his original master, he buries a half-mechanical skeleton, vowing to fulfill its uncompleted desires. He later finds and buries the remains of Wang Yan and Wang Lan, pledging to protect the living and build a strong survivor base, while seeking vengeance against those who wronged his master.
