Chapter 2: Dragon Gate Pass. [120]

Summary

Bian Ru Xue observes Li Hao by the bonfire, feeling a mix of admiration and distance. Despite his lack of a sword, his exceptional swordsmanship lingers in her mind. They share a meal with Feng Bo Ping, who enjoys the roasted tiger meat, while Bian Ru Xue, unaccustomed to such luxuries, finds the food surprisingly delicious. As they eat, she contemplates her sword path and the changes in her relationship with Li Hao, who seems indifferent to her concerns. After their meal, they rest by the bonfire, and Bian Ru Xue reflects on Li Hao's peaceful demeanor despite his troubles. The next day, she bids him farewell, feeling relieved to pursue her own path. Meanwhile, Li Hao and Ren Qian Qian travel towards Longguan Road, where they encounter an old man warning them about demons ahead. Ignoring the warning, Li Hao demonstrates his strength by effortlessly dispatching a demon, revealing the neglected state of the once-guarded path.
