Summary

In a quaint courtyard, a scholar named Yue Li Gu has dedicated two years to carving wooden sculptures, culminating in the completion of one that unexpectedly attracts spirit energy. As he faints from exhaustion, he experiences intense pain and chaos in his consciousness. Despite the suffering, he perseveres, awakening to self-cultivation as the Dao Xuan Jing activates within him. This marks the beginning of his recovery and the reclaiming of his former self, lost due to betrayal. With a small knife symbolizing his journey, he embraces the potential of the Dao Court, believing it will aid his future cultivation and recovery of what he lost.
