Summary

In Hamagura Village, after a close call with a dung pit, Li Shan Yan and Qi De Qiang are welcomed into a tent where Cheng Dalei and others discuss their recent victory against the Rong tribe. Li Shan Yan praises Cheng Dalei and offers him a choice of cities as a reward for his bravery. The group excitedly considers their options, realizing that becoming city lords is a significant upgrade from being bandits. The next day, they set off for a banquet at Yu Ting, knowing it might mean leaving their bandit identities behind. On their way, they encounter an old Taoist who warns Cheng Dalei of an impending disaster. After a comical exchange, Cheng Dalei punches the Taoist for his vague predictions, but the Taoist insists that Cheng is unaware of the calamity approaching him.
