Summary

Xing Jue, faced with a mysterious passage, chooses to walk slowly despite its ruggedness. He discovers a grand hall with a crystal ball reflecting the torment of his friends trapped in an illusion. A mysterious man offers to save them in exchange for Xing Jue's life. Resolute, he agrees, enduring excruciating pain as a talisman pierces his chest. Awakening later, he learns the man is a guardian, testing him for a successor. The man instructs Xing Jue to seek the Razor Blade in the Devour The Soul Ruins for his inheritance, warning him to hide his identity until he becomes powerful.
