Summary

Du Yu reflects on recent events, feeling something is amiss, particularly regarding the "Ashamed" brothers and the powerful assassins. After returning to the scene of a street fight, he learns of An Lu Shan's death and the changing dynamics in the Underworld. Du Yu encounters a drunken scholar who turns out to be a doorkeeper, and after some confusion, he decides not to enter the bar. Instead, he delivers a Soul to the Ashamed brothers, who express their gratitude and loyalty. Despite their injuries, they insist on following Du Yu, pledging their lives to repay him. Du Yu, sensing their sincerity, prepares for their journey to the Unreturning Mountain.
