Summary

He Yi encounters a severely injured black dog in a gloomy place, which reminds him of his disfigured younger brother, He Gang. Despite his initial disgust, he feels a twinge of sympathy for the dog and allows it to stay nearby. Meanwhile, He Yi checks on Su Mo and Lu Chen, who are trapped in a state of distress due to the Heart Capturing Technique. After a tense interaction with the corpse-watcher, He Yi manages to stabilize their conditions. Su Qing Jun arrives, concerned about their state, but He Yi assures her they are fine. As they prepare to leave, the black dog, named A Tu, approaches Lu Chen, who decides to stay behind while Su Qing Jun takes Su Mo back. Lu Chen and A Tu share a moment before leaving the darkness of the tomb, just as another figure rushes past them into the shadows.
