Summary

Shang Cai faces an impenetrable energy barrier while attempting to break through, realizing he may need to destroy Ming Zhu. Despite his enhanced abilities, he struggles against the barrier and decides to seek Ming Zhu instead. He meets a man who leads him to a courtyard where he reunites with Fan Xing and Wei Xu, who introduce him to two Grand Magisters from the Third Clan and two members of the Bloodline Clan. Wei Xu reassures Shang Cai about the safety of their friends, revealing that a past experiment created 108 test subjects, with only two surviving, one of whom may be the false god's vessel.
