Summary

He engages in a fierce battle, using his powers to subdue her and ultimately storing her body. As the twisted soul of President X attempts to invade Lu Ke, he experiences a flood of fragmented memories and visions of responsibility and lost connections. President X’s consciousness fades, leaving behind a final thank you. Lu Ke, unharmed, instructs Pete to evacuate the mutants as the prison begins to collapse. Amidst the chaos, they work to escape while the world outside is filled with various crises involving superheroes and mutants. An old reporter, feeling overwhelmed, prepares to return to the Daily Bugle with his findings.
