Summary

Shang Cai becomes the last line of defense to allow little Qi to escape, despite his doubts about the church army commander's intentions. He is prepared to sacrifice himself if necessary. During a confrontation, Shang Cai attacks the man in pajamas, but his electric power fails to break the defense. The man, surprised by Shang Cai's ability to inflict harm, ultimately retaliates with a silver needle that devastates Shang Cai's internal organs. Though Shang Cai appears unharmed externally, he is critically injured. The man in pajamas, realizing he must act to survive, departs, leaving Shang Cai barely alive, with remnants of electric energy coursing through him.
