Summary

Mo Wuji, after hastily burying two slain cultivators in the Thunder Mist Forest, checks his contribution token, realizing he only earned 22 points for defeating opponents of higher cultivation. He reflects on the difficulty of earning points and decides to leave the area, sensing danger. Upon entering the forest, he feels safer despite its perils, as he can cultivate using the thunder arcs. After enduring multiple strikes, he finds a safe resting place in a thunder valley and examines the storage bags of the slain cultivators, finding mostly spirit stones and some magical artifacts. He decides to enter seclusion to cultivate further. Meanwhile, outside the forest, a chaotic battle rages between cultivators from the five great empires and foreign invaders, with Cen Shu Yin expressing gratitude to Mo Wuji for aiding her in battle. She prepares for the next conflict while reflecting on her points and ranking.
