Summary

Old Huang, recently returned from the hospital, discovers his fish pond drained and is furious, suspecting outsiders. In his past, he had killed many outsiders under the guise of ferrying them, leading to rumors of a river god protecting villagers. Now, he confronts Su Mu and his group, only to be intimidated by Blackback Old Six. Meanwhile, Su Mu's dog, previously owned by Old Huang, raises suspicions about its smell of corpses.
