Summary

Li Yan Qing, accompanied by Qing Er and two guards, returned to Yan Shou Mountain Villa to retrieve buried letters belonging to Zhu Mian. After gaining entry, they discovered a large pit beneath a Taihu stone and unearthed an iron box filled with important correspondence. Their efforts were interrupted by Deng Chong, who demanded the box in exchange for Qing Er's safety. A fight ensued, leading to Deng Chong's death at the hands of a mysterious figure in green, who sought the letters for Minister Cai. After a tense exchange, Li Yan Qing handed over the letters, and the figure vanished. Li Yan Qing and his group then set the corpses ablaze and left for Suzhou City, where they encountered a massive crowd gathered by the canal.
