Summary

Wu Qing Gang finally feels relief after a stressful period, celebrating with drinks alongside Xu Si Wen, who informs both families of a legal victory. Wu Qing Gang, however, ends up in a drunken stupor, leading to a chaotic situation involving a woman named Zhang Lan Mei. Despite the awkwardness, Wu Qing Gang's vigilance prevails even in his inebriated state. The next day, he wakes up with a hangover, reflecting on his emotional struggles. Xu Si Wen supports him, suggesting a trip back to the Northeast for some peace and to enjoy the simple pleasures of home, like boiled corn.
