Summary

In a little shop, Bu Fang serves a dish called drunken ribs, which captivates an elder, a Seventh-Rank God of War. The elder warns Bu Fang about a tender sprout he possesses, suggesting it could be a "death talisman" due to its potential danger. Despite the elder's insistence that Bu Fang cannot protect the sprout, Bu Fang remains defiant. Meanwhile, Juan Er, a young woman, presents her homemade egg tart to Bu Fang, who critiques it, urging her to improve. The elder, frustrated by Bu Fang's refusal to part with the sprout, leaves, foreseeing trouble ahead for Bu Fang.
