Summary

Li Yi encounters two constables apprehending a man named Wu Er, who injured a medicine shop worker after discovering he sold his ill mother moldy herbs. Understanding Wu Er's impulsive actions stemmed from concern for his mother, Li Yi decides to release him since the worker isn't seriously injured. Wu Er expresses gratitude, and Li Yi advises him to think before acting in the future. Afterward, Li Yi reflects on his life as a county officer, his desire to learn horseback riding from Liu Ru Yi, and his preference for wielding a sword over a knife. Upon returning home, he finds a matchmaker urging his sister-in-law to marry, adding a layer of familial concern to his day.
