Chapter 185: Fox Tail. [182]
Summary
Sun Tong's wife urgently brought their children to the bed, prompting an emotional outburst from the old lady, who accused a Taoist priest, Luo Ping Yi, of neglecting their family. Luo Ping Yi suggested that Sun Tong had been framed and needed to identify any possible enemies. The old lady, initially in disbelief, recalled a lost black box containing vital land deeds. As she hurried to search for it, Sun Tong writhed in pain from a severe injury. Luo Ping Yi determined that urgent remedies were needed, including breast milk and three poisons. Meanwhile, Luo Ping Yi warned villagers about a restless ghost, raising tensions. The protagonist felt unjustly accused by Luo Ping Yi and defended their innocence regarding a past incident on the mountain, leading to a heated exchange between them.Full content
