Summary

The narrator returns to their hotel after dealing with terracotta figurines and decides to sell them, along with other items, for 30,000. At a jewelry exhibition in Xi'an, they encounter Master Zou and discuss a family heirloom. Later, Jiang Yuan contacts the narrator about a tomb-raiding opportunity involving her family's ancestral grave beneath a sulfuric acid factory. They plan to scout the area at night, and Jiang Yuan dresses in black for stealth. After sneaking into the factory, they follow her to a small path, but unexpectedly bump into three men, creating tension and uncertainty about their next move.
